Try the eggplant moussaka -- very unique and wonderful -- appears to be much lower in fat than most moussaka. The skewers are tender and tasty. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and will remember you and your favorites. They recently added more items to the menu I recommend reservations for Friday and Saturday evening.

My kids love it - even if the dishes on the kids menu sound a little complex, the flavors are subtle and great. The food was so fresh and tasty - unique flavors for sure. Service was excellent and the wine list of all California wines with many varietals not seen elsewhere. Friendly and efficient staff, wonderful interior, good and unique food selections.

IF YOU LIKE GREAT BEER AND REALY GREAT pastrami, the kind one usually can find only in New York City, then crank up hupmobile and go to the The Refuge, 963 Laurel St. in San Carlos. If you like pastrami, this is a place that is worth a trip out of your way ( possibly a long trip out of your way ! ) READ ABOUT IT HERE Places like Robby Morgenstern� s Miller� s East Cost Delicatessen, and Saul� s were approaching deli with the respect of a fine dining establishment, primarily because they were run by former chefs at some of the city� s best kitchens.
